Fairly productive morning. Thirteen streets, six in Londonderry, and three segments. Felt pretty good early, but felt less good after three miles. Considered bailing early and only doing 8ish miles, but I'm not sure what would have hurt me more, only running eight miles or only getting one segment. Did ultimately shorten the run by a little over a mile and skip one segment, but I'll still call the day a success. Think I was just a hair underdressed for the weather. Second segment almost didn't happen as I was a little iffy on the start location and the lead in was a solid 200m stretch of road that was just a quarter inch of hard packed slippery snow. Fortunately the road cleared up, but was a bit worried. Seems like that Derry/Londonderry/Windham corner did not get much attention from the plows as most of that area was pretty slick. Very glad I got in the miles though, and can now put the thought of an evening double in my rearview.
