A bit hot for December

Training plan called for a 50k tune up race this so I ran my long FS road loop at a good effort (moved it up from the weekend so I wouldn’t have to run it in the rain). 

Felt pretty good up until mile 25.5 - glutes and the rest of my legs gave up on the steep section on the Cooper Gap climb. Fortunately, I had to stop and filter some water at mile 27 which was just enough recovery to push on to the end.
