Picnic Point Classic Ski

Afternoon Run

I LOVE SKI (it’ll probably take a while for that to wear off, in feeling if not in Strava captions) but this was a lot of fun to go explore the trails back by Picnic Point. Very backcountry vibe so I don’t think I’ll be taking my skates out in here, though I could on the main trails. Found a really nice hill with turns so I ended up spending a lot of time practicing hill turning which was fun and I definitely got better so that was cool too. Got my part of my last group project done this morning so I’m one step closer to freedom (aka tomorrow) 🙌 knee flared up walking back so might have to monitor that while classicing but it’s calmed down now (less than an hour after finishing skiing) so maybe not. SO MUCH FUN. So tired and sore cuz I worked myself hard but tired in the best way. It’s so much fun to be active so I’m soaking up every second of it 😎
