I initially planned for a 4 day trek but I saw the opportunity today to push for a big one and finish early, which was enticing due to the horrendous weather forecasted tomorrow(rain and cold). It was a beautiful day, lovely temperature and great views throughout. While it was the lower elevation gain day of the trip, almost 3,000m of descent was probably harder. My legs took a beating with a really heavy pack and I was pretty cooked by days end! But this was a wonderful hike, Japan is so so beautiful and I can’t wait to come back and explore the Alps hopefully next summer!
