That was a mistake…

We had a late start this morning, leaving Legrono at around 9am, instead of our typical 6. We had an AirBnB last night and really wanted to make the most of it. Karis and Dedra did decide to leave early whilst Dan, Emma and I slept in and headed out late. The heat kicked in as usual and we paid the price!

It was an awesome day though; beautiful towns and countryside and I had some great conversations with new and old friends on trail. I even met a group of 4 that were from my home town in Australia! It ended up being technically the longest day so far and my legs and body are feeling really great, despite a really heavy pack. Stoked!
