started out thinking i was going to onsight the fkt. lololol. things were going well until about mile 4/5. then, you drop down into the canyon. all off-trail scrambling on very very crumbly rock trying to find your way down these cliff bands. took so much time to scout a line so i abandoned the idea of a fkt and just thought i’d scout it if i decide to go back in the next 2 days.

thennnn i swore to god i was being stalked by a mountain lion. found a bighorn sheep carcass with fresh kitty tracks around it. then i was freaking myself out and felt like something was watching me in the canyon. my mind turned a rock into a cat and i heard my stomach growl and i thought it was a cat lolol. what a day
