...to get berated by drivers. Thank you sir, the sidewalk would be a great place to run, but just because it was clear for the 100m you saw, that was not the case for the strong majority of my route. Maybe you should just learn how to drive and there wouldn't be any issues.

Decent run, not the 8.5 CityStrides I was planning, but the park in Londonderry was closed. The nerve of them to be closed at noon on a Friday, gates shut/locked and everything. Went home and decided on a slightly shorter route with a fairly easy segment to grab. That went well, but 8 minutes at about tempo effort should. Real test will be holding that pace for closer to an hour come Sunday. 

Could have used some slightly warmer weather. Sun was nice when I had it, but roads and definitely sidewalks left something to be desired. Also not fully on board with the "light and variable" winds. Variable, yes. Light, only sometimes. Had some fairly decent sustained winds on a few parts of this run, including the last half mile of the aforementioned segment. Anyway, finished this up in time to go retrieve my air samples from across town, so everything worked out. Likely a run of similar distance tomorrow.
