To the Crack and back

Took some new shoes out for a spin. I didn't see any cows, but the horse people have given them extra free-roaming. Someone lost a shoe; not my size :)

I've never worn LaSportiva, but there was some chatter about them on a Strava post so I figured I've give them a whirl. They're like a combo of a slipper and running shoe; they handled the terrain with ease (it's pretty technical back there) and although I kicked around several small boulders I never stumbled so... YAY! I did have a tiny bit of slide on a dusty/dirty rock so I'm curious how they'll do on say Slim Shady with a lot of armoring in and out of the washes. 

Anyway, SO WOW, this is what it feels like when the SI joint finally unsticks?  Got a good pop a few nights ago while rolling around on the floor  and did a little hip hike and... POP! It's been since just before leaving MI that I've been dealing with it so YAY!!! (knock on wood it stays this way... gotta keep doing those clam shells and bridge type movements!)
