In reference to the segment - the previous crown holder absolutely smashed the 5K here. This is a technical, mentally demanding track. Super footy, rooty, rocky. I beat him by one second and couldn’t dream of keeping that pace throughout

That being said, I love bombing this section on the way out and wanted to see how fast I could do it.. I dropped my water bottle at the beginning of the segment and everything. Walking back now to get it
