Decided why not give the bullet train a try and inevitably fall back to the B group. Ended up surprising myself and holding on until after Leavenworth! Eventually fell off and out of sight of the bullet group but instead of stopping at Casey’s I decided to ride through to save time. To the trains surprise id teleported back in front of them until they once again caught up but only for a moment as I was quickly dropped again haha. 
Super fun dusty 75 degree ride with some cool people. Excited to do more of these once the weather cools off. 
Also - I’m not sure why but my garmin seems to always under report the elevation gain on my rides. This one should’ve been around 5,000. 
So cool to have a weekly event in town that draws 111 cyclists!
