Pretty good race for me until miles ~23-28. Chased the lead pack of 3 for the first half of the race and then passed 2 on the route back. Things unraveled for me for a bit (felt like a bonk but also some gut problems so I didn’t want to take in more food). Got a little bit of a second wind for the final 5k, but legs were also pretty tired by that point. Pretty fast course, not what I’d usually go for, but a fun change of style. Overall a pretty good day of running in the woods. Definitely need to work on my nutrition planning. Very much winged this one in most regards.
