tough day the day before we had just reached the fall on snow so right off the bat we were in deep snow navigating and making lots of traverses that were probably sketches ones yet. Only took two quick little breaks, cause the miles were so slow. finally, in the afternoon we had a partially drive portion of trail so took my shoes off and hiked in the slides. I was starting to get some really wet feet pain. Was nice to let them air out on this good section of trail, but before I knew it, I was back in snow which at first wasn’t bad but once the sun really starts to set feet were getting mighty cold. plus there was a couple stream crossings from snowmelt that made it even worse. camped right below a beautiful ridge overlooking a lake, so all in all a great day
