I feel much better after this stage than the first two.  That was super fun. Psyched to be able to hang with Jack and Stefan on the run up,  but couldn't make any ground on Stefan on the rock.  Lots of spectators which apparently other racers can recognize but the fog of war closes down pretty tight for me.  Speaking of which,  Jack and John's war cries started to feel further away (again, how are they able to do non- running things with their lungs) so I concluded I had a decent gap on them. Stumbled to the 1st, tried to advance on Stefan to no avail.  Franz-rap caught me up to Luke who I chased until he messed up the 3rd cut even worse than me.  Danny made sure I knew he had passed me to the 3rd base (this link has always been a weakness for me) so I focused on a clean 3rd run even though I was seeing red.  Made it to the raps shortly after Luke and ahead of Danny (also ahead of my car keycard which fell out as I whipped out the rap device, I should really implant under skin),  but I must say Luke did not make the rap pass easy.  I had to make it happen though,  and stayed ahead of Luke until the trail turned into the flat torture type. Lots of fun turnover and battles,  how it should be.  Psyched on the harness under shorts approach too, I think that's my new standard. Also my ankles are shot...
